课程介绍

The MOOC series Learn Mandarin Chinese- Chinese for Intermediate Learners is an intermediate Chinese language course for speakers of other languages. The Course contains 15 lessons, matching a 15-week standard course session, plus one HSK 3 sample test.
According to the design, a typical learner who should join us at Lesson 1 is a completer of Learn Mandarin Chinese- Chinese for beginners on Coursera by SJTU or anyone who has the proficiency close or equal to HSK 2. (HSK is the national proficiency test provided by Confucius Academy Headquarter, check www.chinesetest.cn for detailed definitions and specifications of the 6 levels of the test). The standard of 50-70 hours' total previous learning time could also apply.
By completing the MOOC series, a learner will reach the proficiency level of HSK 3.

学习目标

If you stay with us till the end of the course, you will reach the proficiency level equal to HSK 3. We also provide you with sample tests and other assistance to prepare for the real HSK test, and you will be able to pass the test (if you learned all the characters).

学习要求

For this course, an estimated 15 week (3-4 hours per week) learning session should be expected, with 2 parts of one lesson and 2 quizzes per week involved. 3 written assignment is required as the final projects.
